fancy pants: dot, dot, bang

jacket: thrifted >> dress: Sympathy for the Rebel >> belt: thrifted >> shoes: c/o B.A.I.T.

It's finally legit dress weather again and, seriously, my heart is exploding with happiness. I admire a girl that can comfortably wear a dress in cold temperatures but I'm not really one of them. I'll brave it every once in a while but realistically I'm bitching all damn day about it. Anyway, the weather is warm and I can't wipe the smile off my face (although you'd never be able to tell from this smug little photo shoot).

I'm just going to be straight up and say I really like the shoes I'm wearing in these pictures. They were sent to me from B.A.I.T. and they are 100% cute. Added bonus: they're comfortable too! I rarely wear dainty shoes (with thin straps, open toes, etc) but I'm feel good in these. If you take a closer look you'll see that they have heart shaped polka dots (are they still polka dots if they're shaped like hearts?). Moral of the story? I like them a lot.

If you've ever looked at my face you may notice that something is different about these photos. For the first time since pre-pubescence I have bangs. I went to a salon last week to get my hair lightened up a bit and I asked for straight across bangs. No matter how many times I asked (three times) she would not relent. She insisted that I needed a side bang that could be swept across. Whatever lady, I'll just do it myself. And I won't do it well either. Ah well, I'll give it a couple more weeks and head to a different salon for a touch up.

Today I'll be looking much less put-together as I scrub the pee smell out of my bathroom.  It's all glamour all the time around here.

See ya!
