With Jesse out of town for much of February I've been busy pretending to be a person qualified/prepared/patient enough to hang out with a two year old all by my lonesome. This hasn't left a lot of time for luxuries like hygeine. Okay, that may be a stretch but I definietly haven't had the energy to put much thought into the rags that cover my nakedness. So when one of those glorious babysitter days presented the opportunity I took the heat to my hair, the concealer to my under-eyes and actually looked at my clothing before pulling it over my head.
I can't say that I often wear a hat. You see I have been blessed with a rather large head (I think it means I'm destined for a career in television) and that means that unless it's a toque there ain't no hat gonna fit my head. Luckily I have a fellow big-headed friend with a penchant for hats and enough faith in me to let me borrow one. Someday she wants to compare and contrast head sizes but I'm afraid I'd be the sad victor. (Jen, I hope you had to squeeeeeze your head into this thing.)
hat: borrowed >> jacket: thrifted >> dress: thrifted
tights: Joe Fresh >> belt: thrifted >> shoes: c/o Blowfish
Feeling a little fancy was fun if only for the day. Today I'll be back in my jeans and chasing kid and kitten around the house.
Hope you're having an awesome start to your weekend!
