the baked goods: TLF trifecta cookie



Not only are these cookies vegan and gluten free but they're also a Valentines Day threesome that won't send your relationship into a downward spiral. Banana? Peanut butter? Chocolate? Banana, peanut butter and chocolate! It's happening!



When I first came across this recipe I didn't believe that anything resembling a cookie could result from the listed ingredients. I've baked a flourless cake before but flourless and eggless? I had doubts.

All you need is*:
1 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. white sugar
1 med. ripe banana
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F.  Combine all ingredients in one bowl.  Mix.  Add chocolate chips.  Scoop batter with tablespoon and roll into a ball.  Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Baking for 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

If you'd like to have heart cookies too just wait for cookies to cool for 5 minutes and then press down on your cookie with a heart shaped cutter.



Let me tell you - it works, they're delicious and holy crap this recipe is the easiest thing ever! If you have half and hour you have enough time to make these and eat a great many of them.
