my september read

Can I just say that I love having a list of goals to get through in a year?  I'm excited to move forward into a new and busy season but I am having a hard time get my butt un-lazied.  Deadlines, fun tasks and accountability all make for interesting and fulfilling days.

One of my goals is to read at least one book every single month.  The fifth grade me would be ashamed of that number.  Hell, even 21 year old me would be all snooty about it.  But that was life pre-baby, pre-blog, pre-my-life-is-pretty-freaking-packed.  So here we are.  One book a month.  Better than one book a year.

This months pick is was brought to my attention by the ever lovely Leigh-Ann of Freckled Nest.

As my wee blog design business grows so should my awareness on client interaction.  It's not that I'm bad at it, but it can't hurt to learn more about the designer-client dynamic.  I'm excited to crack this book open.  It seems like it has a nice layout with information that is easy to digest.  Perfect to drift off to sleep with.
