collections / guest post by Sandi of Adalou

Hi everyone!  Today I'm really happy to bring you a guest post from one of my new favourite bloggers.  I'm going to admit right here and now that the following photos make my thrifty heart weak.  Love!

Hi! My name is Sandi and I'm a designer by days and crafty chick by nights.

I blog over at AdaLou, where I share a bit of everyday life including my love for vintage, art, motherhood and my favorite, personal collections! I'm a thriftaholic and love a good hunt. While I'm out shopping the stores or hitting up a yard sale, I'm always on the look out for a few key items, one, being vintage mugs! So today, I wanted to share a few sneak peeks into my personal collection of mugs. The collections rather large, so I didn't document them all (just yet), but if you'd like to see more, or view my other collections, come visit me on my site.

My eye is drawn to bold patterns and clean graphic shapes. That orange and pink flower print (left top) and orange king and queens (center bottom) are in my top 5. I love, love, love, orange!

The Good Morning Mc Donald's mug (gifted by friend) the Lucy mug and the W (bottom) are milk glass. Made in the 50's/60's and not produce as much today, they seem to be a bit harder to stumble upon but are very unique pieces.

The lion mug (below) is my all time favorite. This was the first mug in my collection, found years ago for a bucks. It's produced by Hornsea of England and designed by artist, John Clappison in 1975.

Thanks so much Thursday for letting me share my collection! I hope you all enjoyed them.
