recently thrifted: olympus trip 35

Know when you have something on your to-be-thrifted list that should be easy to find but you just can't?  Is there anything more infuriating?  (Yes, probably, but just play along, ok?)  You know that every time you go to a store you see a shelf full of something - but when you finally need some of that something it's no where to be found.  That's thrifting nonsense right there.

Lately I've been looking for a good film camera.  One that will not only accept 35mm film but love it.  One that is aesthetically pleasing and none too chunky.  I thought I'd found that camera a time or two in the past but when I brought it home I was sad to find the film situation to be a no-go (sidebar: I'm a film camera moron).

After a long weekend of thrift adventures I'm happy to say I think I've found my perfect new film camera.  I may have to find a YouTube video to teach me how to load this thing with film.

Remember this ugly ass camera?  I've just aboot used all the photos.  I can't wait to get this thing developed.  Mostly I can't wait to take it in to the camera store and see the looks on their faces.
