this is thursday: you're breathing my air

Some would say I'm particular.  They're just being polite.  Truth is that I get very neurotic, especially after dark (I said neurotic people).  In order for me to get a good nights sleep there are a few things that have to happen.

1. There should be a cat on the bed.  Doesn't always happen, but am I ever happy when it does.

2. No noise.  I mean none.  I wear ear plugs to bed every single night.  If I'm home alone with Georgia I wear one earplug and sleep with my hearing ear to the pillow.

3. I can't be facing a person while I fall asleep.

Mostly because I cannot have anyone breathing in my general direction while I nod off.  There's an alarm that goes off in my head, it screams "they are breathing all your air!  you're going to suffocate!"  Honestly, that hot, used up air coming out of the other persons face - it's trying to get you.  There's only so much air in the room.

Keep in mind, this is coming from a girl that wholeheartedly believes that she can be suffocated with a loosely knit afghan.  My science might not be solid.  But I'm not a solid science kind of girl.
