spring decor from brini maxwell

February can be a challenging month. It's when winter settles in for the long haul. Despite the bleak forecast there are hints of spring in the air, however. There are ways to encourage those hints of spring. This video dates back to the late 1990's when it was produced as a part of my original cable show. When I started my video podcast I knew it would be a perfect segment to include in the second season, which debuted in February 2008. I hope you enjoy my tips for hurrying spring along!

Another nice way to encourage spring is by bring in branches of forsythia or other blooming bushes and trees. Split the base of the branches and put them in lukewarm water and they'll burst forth with their beautiful blooms! It's another delightful way to alleviate the winter blahs.
