The calender says that my baby is nine months old today. I know this is impossible because I remember giving birth to her like it was yesterday.
Life has finally been returning to normal for miss Georgia Grace. Recently she had four top teeth come in at the same time. Understandably she was the teensiest of crank pots during that time. She had been waking up in the middle of the night for giant cry-fests. It was a really sad scene. Nothing seemed to console her other than bringing her into our bed and rubbing her back until she finally gave in to her exhaustion.
Last night she woke up around 3:30am, but this time I wasn't greeted by a crabby baby. Instead I found a rather happy and wide awake child. I brought her into our bed where she went on to make the loudest fart noises (ahem, with her mouth) for quite some time. It was hard work, but I managed to silence most of my giggles with the help of my pillow.
Hope you all are having a splendid Monday. I'll be seeing you around these parts tomorrow.
