the (baked) goods: whoopie pies

This is what my fridge looked like this morning after I took out a few plates of Whoopie Pies.

I spent the afternoon/evening travelling about Peterborough and dropping these lovelies off for taste testing.  It's really interesting to have the results come in and hear what everyone is enjoying (and not-so-much enjoying).

Next I must do some math to figure out the actual cost of these things.  After that I will approach local cafes in the hopes that they will serve them to a new found adoring public (fingers crossed).  If I could hire someone to do the latter task I would - I am so nervous about that sort of thing.

Wish me luck!

i agree! approaching people is scary!! you will do great, i believe in you :) your baked goods look yummy!

They look yummy and they are yummy - once you get some owners/places etc., to taste them I'm sure they'll be interested!! Can picture them in the glass display case now and trying to chose which one to have with a coffee or tea during a late afternoon break...

@alanacallan

I always think it is easier to approach people for someone else...because you are not as emotionally/financially invested in the ask. So, maybe just trick yourself into thinking that you are asking for someone else...I play trick on myself all the time...im not too bright =)

OOOHHH!! This brings me back to my childhood. Whoopie Pies were my favorite treat :)

Hi,

I think you should hit up WhistleStop Cafe, ask for Peggy, Brooke, or Liz. I think they would love these.

HSD - Good idea! Momentary DID should do the trick;]

Adam - Thanks for the tip! I'll give them a try.
