Today is one of those days that I have a little whirlwind twirling around my noggin. Hello hectic! Where did all the peace and quiet go? Can it please come back home?
Jesse and I spent the whole, entire day putting the finishing touches on the clinic. Things are looking pretty darn good. I'm hoping I can take some photos when the light is good (but I haven't been formally introduced to good lighting in this house).
The last few weeks have been packed full of graphic design for his promotional stuff (brochures, leaflets, signage, etc.). This is something I have a serious love/hate relationship with. Initially I get excited because it's an office work/creative work hybrid - but eventually that's all flushed down the toilet and I'm yelling at the computer screen rather loudly. Thank goodness all of that stuff is done (for) now.
On a more upbeat note - little Miss George started sitting up this week. She doesn't totally have the hang of it yet, but this girl is a fast learner. She's also just about ready to crawl. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. I keep telling her about the arms bit, but listening to mom is so not her thing.
And finally, late this evening I scampered off to the kitchen to begin one of my greatest baking streaks to date. If you're in the Peterborough area this weekend you have to hit up the yard/bake sale I'm taking part in. There will be lots of vintage and many, many sweet treats.
Tonight I'm starting work on this little beauty...
Oh Cakespy! How I love thee!
Thanks to The Peche for showing me the way to this insane desert.
So you see, even though life can be a little cuckoo bananas - it only ends up getting sweeter.
