Hmmm, I'm feeling a little lost tonight. Having a hard time keeping my mind on track. Not a bad thing, just an off sort of feeling.

I was supposed to go to an auction sale this afternoon. I was super, duper, way-overly excited about it. Then, just as we were about to leave I checked the sale information online - and guess what? No auction today - it's next Tuesday. Bummer.

The plan was to take a tonne of pictures at the sale and share the glorious thrift with you all. No dice.

So instead I will share some photos of my latest art acquisition (fancy right?).

Peterborough is home to the very talented leather artist Spatch. I wish I had a website to share with you all, but Spatch is keeping it real local for now. You don't know it yet, but that's terrible news for you. Want proof? Have a look-see at what is now hanging on my craft room wall.

It was displayed in his storefront window for weeks and it was calling to me. Seriously, I could hear it blocks away. It had to be mine!

And now it is! Bliss!
Everything Spatch makes is one of a kind. It kind of makes my greedy senses tingle to know that no one else will ever have this sweet little birdie.

I would love it to hear about your latest addition(s) to your art collections! What pieces and/or artists are you loving right now?
