download & print: blog post brainstorming

You know me - I blog. I blog every single day. When I'm not blogging, I'm likely thinking about what I'll be writing about later on. When I'm especially organized I pre-plan my posts on a little "to-do" list thing. However, a messy list jotted down on a napkin hasn't been cutting it for me. What I've been wanting is a little journal that I can use for those on-the-road brainstorm sessions. A book where I can record future post ideas.

Not being able to find what I was looking for I decided to create a journal for myself. And because I'm feeling kind of sweet today I thought I'd share it with all of you!

I had grand plans of making a mini tutorial of this tonight, but my lofty plans have been dashed. A crying baby, crazy printer and fast clock have made for a quickly passing evening. I will snap some photos tomorrow and share the finishing steps with you then.

Alright, so let's get started.

First we have the covers. I printed this on a heavy letter sized white cardstock. She comes out beautifully.

Next, we have the book guts (classy people call these pages). I printed these on regular recycled copy paper. Make sure you do double-sided printing (otherwise your book will look crazy and wasteful).

Putting the whole thing together is pretty simple; it's your basic fold in half and staple job. I will post pictures tomorrow for those of you who appreciate visual aids.
Hope this is useful for all of you lovely bloggers out there! See you tomorrow.
